  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter cold and cubed
For the Cream Mixture
  • ¾ cup Heavy cream
For the Fruit
  • 1 cup Fresh blackberries

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs.
  4. Fold in the heavy cream and fresh blackberries gently.
  5. Turn out the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a circle about 1 inch thick. Cut into wedges and transfer them to the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
