How to Make Boursin Bacon and Broccoli Gnocchi
- Preheat your oven to 390°F. This will ensure that your broccoli roasts perfectly while you prepare the rest of the dish.
- Toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them evenly on a baking tray and roast for 15-18 minutes, until they're lightly charred and fork-tender.
- Cook the diced bacon in a large pan over medium heat until crispy and golden. Remove the bacon and set it aside, leaving the flavorful fat in the pan to enhance your sauce.
- Sauté the finely diced shallots in the bacon fat for about 3-4 minutes, until soft and golden in color. This will create a lovely aromatic base for your sauce.
- Add the chicken stock to the pan and stir in the Garlic & Herb Boursin cheese until well melted. Then, mix in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan, gently simmering for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the gnocchi according to package instructions, usually about 1 minute. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the gnocchi directly into the creamy sauce.
- Stir gently to coat the gnocchi in the Boursin sauce. Then, fold in the crispy bacon and roasted broccoli. Heat for an additional minute, adding some gnocchi cooking water if the sauce is too thick.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Serve your Boursin Bacon and Broccoli Gnocchi warm, garnished with fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.

Notes
When making Boursin Bacon and Broccoli Gnocchi, use a large pot for boiling the gnocchi to prevent sticking. Avoid overcooking as they should float when done. For added flavor, consider adding white wine after sautéing the shallots. Maintain low heat to prevent curdling.
