How to Make Butter Garlic Shrimp
- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry completely with paper towels.
- Toss the shrimp in a bowl with olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, if using.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, then melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer. Sear for 1–2 minutes on each side, until they turn pink.
- Lower the heat and add the minced garlic and remaining butter. Stir gently for about 30 seconds.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the lemon juice, chopped parsley, and lemon zest.
- Serve immediately with your choice of rice, pasta, or crusty bread.
