How to Make Cajun Cream Cheese Alfredo Bowties
- Boil salted water and cook bowtie pasta until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of the pasta water to use later.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add the lean ground beef. Cook until it's browned, about 5-7 minutes. Sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning for a flavor kick!
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and stir for about 1 minute until it becomes fragrant and tender.
- Lower the heat, then add cream cheese and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Gently mix the cooked bowtie pasta with the creamy sauce, ensuring each piece is well coated. Then, sprinkle in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese and stir until incorporated.
- Transfer to bowls and serve immediately. If desired, garnish with extra Parmesan for an added touch of cheesiness!
