How to Make Caramel Pecan Cinnamon Rolls
  1. In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, active dry yeast, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the warm milk and melted butter. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients to form a soft dough.
  3. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead it gently for 5-7 minutes or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean towel, and set it in a warm location. Allow it to rise for about an hour or until it has doubled in size.
  5. In one bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon. In another bowl, chop the pecans into small pieces.
  6. After the dough has risen, punch it down gently. Roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle about half an inch thick.
  7. Spread melted butter over the surface and sprinkle generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture and chopped pecans.
  8. Carefully roll the dough tightly from one end to the other, creating a log. Slice the log into pieces about two inches thick.
  9. Arrange them in greased baking dishes that are lined with caramel sauce.
  10. Let the sliced rolls rest for another 30 minutes while you preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Drizzle with more caramel sauce before serving.
