  • 1 pound Steak (sirloin or ribeye) cut into bite-sized pieces
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy cream adds a luxurious, creamy base
  • 1 cup Shredded white cheddar cheese can substitute with Gruyère
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil for cooking the steak
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • to taste Salt for seasoning
  • to taste Pepper for seasoning
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped parsley optional

Method
 

Directions
  1. Boil Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak pieces with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned, then remove from the skillet.
  3. Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, stirring frequently.
  4. Create the Sauce: Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Slowly add shredded white cheddar cheese, stirring until smooth.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Return cooked steak to skillet, then add drained penne. Toss to coat everything with sauce.
  6. Serve Warm: Ladle onto plates and garnish with parsley if desired.
