How to Make Donut Grilled Cheese with Bacon Maple
- Slice the glazed donuts horizontally, creating a top and bottom half. Set them aside.
- Spread a thin layer of softened butter on the outer sides of each donut half. On the bottom half, place a slice of cheddar cheese, two slices of cooked turkey bacon, and drizzle a little maple syrup. Top with the other donut half.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Carefully place the sandwiches buttered-side down onto the skillet. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the cheese is melted and the donut is golden and caramelized.
- Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and let them cool slightly. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes
For an extra touch of sweetness, drizzle more maple syrup on top before serving.
