How to Make Garlic Butter Steak & Cheddar Potato Bake
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and thinly slice the Yukon Gold potatoes. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute, then add the seasoned ribeye steak, cooking until browned.
- Start layering in a baking dish: half of the sliced potatoes, drizzle with half of the heavy cream, and cover with half of the sautéed steak. Repeat the layering.
- Sprinkle grated sharp cheddar cheese on top, then cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the top is golden brown.
