How to Make Garlic Parmesan Pasta
  1. Boil the pasta: Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, typically about 8-10 minutes. Remember to reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining for later!
  2. Sauté the garlic: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until it becomes fragrant.
  3. Create the sauce: Pour in the heavy cream, sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer gently for about 3 minutes until it thickens slightly, stirring occasionally.
  4. Combine pasta with sauce: Add the drained pasta directly into the skillet with the sauce. Mix it well and use the reserved pasta water as needed to achieve your desired creamy consistency.
  5. Incorporate parmesan: Sprinkle the freshly grated parmesan cheese over the pasta, stirring until it melts and blends seamlessly into the dish.
  6. Serve and garnish: Dish out your Garlic Parmesan Pasta onto plates and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
