  • 1 loaf Fresh baguette Crispy foundation
For the Shrimp
  • 12 oz Large raw shrimp Fresh yields best flavor
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt For seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper For seasoning
For the Avocado Spread
  • 2 medium Ripe avocados Creamy texture
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lime juice Prevents browning
  • 1 pinch Salt To elevate taste
For the Garnish
  • ¼ cup Fresh cilantro Chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil For toasting and sautéing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place your sliced baguette on a baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  3. Bake the baguette slices for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
  4. Sauté the minced garlic in olive oil for about 30 seconds, then add the shrimp.
  5. Cook the shrimp until they turn pink, about 3 minutes per side, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Mash ripe avocados in a bowl and stir in lime juice and salt.
  7. Spread the avocado mix on toasted baguette slices and top with sautéed shrimp.
  8. Sprinkle chopped cilantro over the crostini just before serving.
