  • 1 package Puff pastry thawed

  • 1 pound Ground sausage your choice of flavor
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
For the Finish
  • 1 large Egg for egg wash

Method
 

How to Make Holiday Sausage Rolls
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the ground sausage into the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into 4-inch squares.
  5. Spoon a generous amount of the sausage mixture onto each pastry square, fold and seal the edges.
  6. Brush each roll with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake the rolls in your preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
