How to Make Italian Lemon Chicken Piccata
  1. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Dredge the seasoned chicken in all-purpose flour, shaking off the excess.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
  4. Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Stir in the fresh lemon juice, chicken broth, and capers, mixing well.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for another 5 minutes.
