Ingredients

For the Cookie Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter for rich flavor; choose organic for a gourmet touch.
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips the star of the show; use good quality for the best taste.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar adds sweetness and texture; substitute with coconut sugar for a healthier twist.
  • ½ cup brown sugar offers moisture and depth; light or dark works well!
  • 2 large eggs binds the ingredients together; bring to room temperature for better mixing.
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract enhances the chocolate flavor; opt for pure vanilla for an exquisite aroma.
For the Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour creates structure; can be swapped with gluten-free flour if needed.
  • ½ cup cocoa powder intensifies the chocolate flavor; Dutch-processed cocoa provides a richer taste.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder ensures a light, airy texture; double-check the expiration date!
  • ¼ teaspoon salt balances sweetness; consider sea salt for a gourmet touch.
