Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 8 oz Linguine or spaghetti your favorite pasta works wonderfully
For the Prawns
  • 1 lb Prawns peeled and deveined; use fresh or thawed frozen prawns
For the Sauce
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced; adds a rich aroma and depth to the dish
  • 1 teaspoon Chili flakes adjust to taste for the perfect kick
  • 1 can (14 oz) Diced tomatoes provides the base for the sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil the heart of the sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste; essential seasonings

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Boil water in a large pot. Add 8 oz of linguine or spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 4 minced garlic cloves and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add 1 lb of peeled and deveined prawns, seasoning with salt, pepper, and 1 teaspoon of chili flakes. Cook until the prawns turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in 1 can (14 oz) of diced tomatoes and let it simmer for 5 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, mixing until well coated. Add reserved pasta water if the sauce seems dry.
  6. Dish out your Spicy Chilli Prawn Pasta immediately. Optionally, garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes
