Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs
  • 1 lb lean ground beef or turkey
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 large egg
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup canned low-sodium tomato sauce

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix until well-coated and blended.
  3. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Heat the canned tomato sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.
  6. Serve the meatballs hot, topped with the warm tomato sauce.
