  • Salt and Pepper To taste.

Equipment

  • wok or large skillet

Method

How to Make
  1. Slice the steak thinly against the grain, then season it generously with salt and pepper to enhance its flavor.
  2. Peel and devein the shrimp, ensuring you pat them dry with a paper towel for an even cook in the stir-fry.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and freshly grated ginger until well combined.
  4. Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat and add a splash of oil. Sear the steak for 1-2 minutes per side until beautifully browned and just cooked through, then set it aside.
  5. Add the shrimp to the hot pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, watching for them to turn pink and curl slightly. Remove from the pan and set aside with the steak.
  6. Toss in the sliced onion and bell peppers, stir-frying for about 3-4 minutes until tender yet still crisp. Then, add the snap peas and cook for another minute.
  7. Return the seared steak and cooked shrimp to the pan. Pour the prepared sauce over the top, tossing everything together until well-coated and heated through, about 2 minutes more.
  8. Plate up your vibrant Steak and Shrimp Stir-Fry, topping with toasted sesame seeds. Optionally, add chopped green onions for an extra touch of freshness.
