Ingredients

For the Oats Base
  • 2 cups Rolled Oats Use old-fashioned rolled oats for best texture.
  • 2 cups Milk Use any milk of your choice: dairy, almond, oat, etc.
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Plain, unsweetened Greek yogurt works best.
  • ¼ cup Maple Syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Use pure vanilla extract for best flavor.
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon Optional, for added flavor.
For the Strawberry Topping
  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries Hulled and sliced.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Optional, for extra sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice To enhance the flavor of strawberries.
For Garnish
  • ¼ cup Crushed Graham Crackers For a cheesecake-like crust flavor.
  • ¼ cup Cream Cheese Softened, for drizzling or dolloping.

Method

Prepare the Oats Base
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated. This mixture will create a creamy base for your overnight oats.
  2. Divide the oats mixture evenly among four mason jars or containers. Make sure to leave some space at the top for the strawberry topping.
Prepare the Strawberry Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, honey, and lemon juice. Toss gently to coat the strawberries evenly. The lemon juice will enhance the natural sweetness of the strawberries.
  2. Spoon the strawberry mixture on top of each jar of oats, distributing evenly. This will infuse the oats with strawberry flavor as they sit overnight.
Chill and Serve
  1. Cover each jar with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight. This allows the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.
  2. When ready to serve, remove the jars from the refrigerator. Top with crushed graham crackers and a dollop of softened cream cheese for that cheesecake flavor.
  3. Enjoy your Strawberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats cold or at room temperature!

These overnight oats can be customized with other fruits or toppings as desired. You can also substitute the Greek yogurt with dairy-free alternatives if needed.
