- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Melt the butter and cocoa powder together in a medium saucepan over low heat.
- Whisk together the granulated sugar and eggs in a large bowl. Stir in the melted butter-cocoa mixture until the batter appears glossy.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each liner two-thirds full. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Frost your cooled cupcakes by mixing peanut butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Spread generously on each cupcake.
