For the Beans
  • 2 cups cannellini beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
For the Flavor
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
For the Garnish
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Directions
  1. Gather all your ingredients on the countertop.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Combine the drained cannellini beans and lemon juice into the skillet. Gently stir and cook for another minute.
  4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Optionally add red pepper flakes.
  5. Cook on low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Finish by removing from heat and stirring in the chopped parsley.
